Workshops and Special Projects:

During the summer of 2009, some of the members worked with a group of girls, during the Fun With Fabrics 4H Camp.  These pictures show them learning how to use the long arm quilting machine.

The guild participated in two workshops in September to sew pillowcases for the ConKerr Cancer organization.  The pillowcases are given to children who have cancer, or other serious illnesses, while they are in the hospital.  Members of the Guild completed 156 pillowcases during the workshops.

On October 17, a group of members met with Diane Hamburg to learn about leaf printing on fabric.  They had alot of fun experimenting with colors and fabrics!

In January, we gave a quilt to a new Habijax home owner.
